Gusto Locks manufactures security padlocks at Delhi Gate, Aligarh, in Uttar Pradesh. The brand belongs to A R Enterprises, a registered micro manufacturing enterprise founded by Mohd. Anas, and it has been in production since 2017.
Aligarh has made locks for more than a century. Working here means our tooling, our platers and our skilled operators are all within a few kilometres of the unit, which is why a design change can move from drawing to sample in days rather than months.
Every lock in the range is built on the same three principles: a hardened shackle that resists cutting and pulling, a rust protected bright chrome finish, and key combinations unique enough that no two locks in a consignment open with the same key.

Hardened shackle
Cut and pull resistant on every model, because the shackle is where most padlocks fail.
Rust protected finish
Bright chrome plating, checked for coverage around the keyway where corrosion starts first.
Keys that stay unique
Lever packs are set so combinations are not repeated within a consignment.
A faulty lot is replaced
A dealer who has to argue about a bad batch does not reorder, so it is cheaper for us to replace goods than to defend them.

What we make
Fourteen padlock models across four body types: square body, round body, long shackle and shrouded disc. Sizes run from 40 mm cabinet padlocks up to a 90 mm disc padlock built for shutters and containers. Lever mechanisms range from six to twelve, with double and four-locking action depending on the model.
Inside the unit
Manufacturing, assembly and finishing all happen at our own premises.
- Pressing. Bodies and shackles are pressed from mild steel sheet and bar.
- Machining. Keyways, lever slots and shackle holes are machined to the drawing.
- Heat treatment. Shackles are hardened so they resist cutting and pulling.
- Plating. Bodies are polished and bright chrome plated for corrosion resistance.
- Assembly and testing. Levers are set, keys are cut, and every lock is worked by hand before it is packed.
